Every gun you have bought for yourself, gets stolen by the wife, because it would "go nice with this one outfit". So you finally just start buying 2 of each gun!

Its fine to be proud of it,
But please dont whip it out in public and start waving it around,
And PLEASE dont try to force it down my children's throats.

Your significant other wonders why you are quiet and distant and starts getting worried, but you're just trying to figure out why you had a FTE with your carry gun at the range earlier.

Or you were thinking about changing the color of your guns and painting them FDE. Instead you just went out and bought new one in FDE. Different situations require different colors........

When you buy a gun in a new caliber, you are thinking about the reloading setup you need for it... on the way home from the LGS! "I wonder what powders do well with XXX?"

Your right EB. My stepdad just got him a savage 30.06. We'll of course I picked up a die set and need to start on bullets, brass and powder for it. Already been working on .357 and .38 for his pistol.

When you walk into the CO-OP and the guy behind the counter says, "Hey, someone brought in another gun for ya to look at." Or while you're on your way driving down "your" road one of your neighbors flags you down and pulls a gun out and says...."Can you fix this thing?" Uh, yeah, cause that's what neighbors do right? I always give them back better than the way they were given to me and I only charge them for the parts. I tell them I might need their help one day and I wouldn't expect you to say NO. Been working out pretty good so far.

EB It could be the reason why you are buying the gun is it was about time, you bought the reloading gear, powder and bullets last year. You know things do have a shelf life......

Even powder can be dried out in the stove, keep the primers in an ammo can.. bullets are usually good for a while... Id rather gear than find no bullets on the shelf!
