OK, so not blowing OPSEC here. Just what exactly are you doing down there again? Building a wall on the southern border of Mexico? Relocating the entire population of Peacock Bass to Canada? Opening a Moosehead Brewery?

The company that I work for has a manufacturing facility here. Basically building the same thing that I used to build at home. I am here as a manufacturing consultant, to work with the team here to improve processes and essentially babysit a $50 million project out the door, hopefully on time.

How have you found the locals your working with? Last place I worked moved our facility to Monterry, Mx. Several folks I worked with went there to get it started. Said that they'd hire someone that would work a couple days, then send in their cousion or uncle to work for a few days. One guy had parts stolen off his truck, while parked in a fenced in parking lot at work. Not a one of them had much good to say.
"Man's gotta do what man's gotta do" long as it ain't illegal right? It's a turd world country, got good people and bad, like here you can't trust anyone. Not defending them just that's the way it is. People suck.

It is a well established facility, with many VERY good people. it is gated and secured by guards, as is the hotel I am in. But I do enjoy wandering around the streets in my off time. I have not felt threatened anywhere (yet), but know several people from the facility here, who have been mugged for their laptops and/or cell phones.
