    Sad, or happy?
    Angry, or calm?
Just black and white words on a screen.
Not like a conversation in person, with facial expressions, body language, tone of voice.

Still, we here pretty much slide along without issues.
Imagine how well we could get along in person.

Or, we would just think each other is a bunch of assholes

Bought and started installing 10-1080p cameras on my house today. Another vandalism spree in the neighborhood last night. Luckily they only egged our cars, but there's a family that causes lots of trouble (renters) I call them the O'Doyles because of the way they treat other kids. I suspect the escalation is because the police have been involved in one instance of their 11-12 y/o girls asking 8 and 9 year old girls if they could take "pictures" of them. I expect these little asshats to get much worse very soon. God help them if they mess with my kid. This package can be upgraded to 16 cams if I find it necessary. Also gonna install at least one on my chimney for a weather cam.

How about some pics and details of the cameras and system, plus a review once you get it up and dialed in. I have been looking at these for some time and can't decide what to pull the trigger on. There are lots of stuff out there, including IR cameras for night time use. Various recording devices and direct and wireless set ups.

Hope the asshats get busted and dealt with soon.

Spent most of the evening setting up the DVR and trying to get it online so I can monitor it with the iPad and iPhone. Did get a chance to run the 90 foot cable out the front door and played with the night vision. Fantastic picture on a moonlit night. Obviously they're not hung under the eaves yet, but we have a decent source of ambient light with a street light across the street, and our driveway/porch lights. It's a Samsung 1080p system, and it's pretty nice so far. The DVR is a little unfriendly as far as setup goes. I may end up calling tech support Monday evening. I hope it's not in Bangalore. Lol

AK FYI according to my son who is a real computer geek for the Feds those systems can be easily hacked. So ya probably don't want to have it so you can record anything in the house you do not want anyone else to see.............just saying.

So if it is predictable and preventable then you better prepare.
