@bacpacker no disrespect taken. My response to you was a sly jab which somewhere turned into a vent about those (not you) who dismiss climate change and global warming and pin some kind of tree hugging conspiracy on lefty's and their pandering to the green energy contingent. As I have said before and will continue to preach until I die... Left and right only care about who's contributions will carry them politically forward. And while donations and hefty board appointments come there way, it's the people who suffer from their exploitation of our world. Many greens have a twisted outlook on what is safe viable energy as well.... But that's a discussion for another time or another thread. I'll stop hijacking this one... For now hehehe
Left/Right, different sides of the same coin!

Took the dog out hiking with his pack today....it was really a ploy to get my girls in the woods, and maybe myself a little also. Either way they all did great.
Be ready now, you won't have that chance later.

Wife and I took a day and went on a hike ourselves. Great day, not too cool, not too warm, only saw three folks. Couldn't ask for much better. Nice to take a break from cutting trees and before the garden gets started.

Worked up the time to take a couple of bows down to the local archery shop and set them up for bow-fishing. It wasnt as costly as I thought it would be, and its actually pretty simple. Draw them down to a lightest weight possible, add a bow reel and line to them, a couple of fishing tips, and you are good to go. All I need now is a boat!

    Its fine to have one,
Its fine to be proud of it,
But please dont whip it out in public and start waving it around,
And PLEASE dont try to force it down my children's throats.

Used to bow fish a lot when I lived in south Louisiana.

Meet a neighbor tonight that lives on the plot behind us. His property is all wooded and house on the far side. Had never saw anyone out before. Anyway I was out back working and he had come out to try out his new AR. He saw me after he fired five rounds and was all apologetic. Seems like a nice guy, hoping he is someone that can be counted on. Time will tell.

I got 40 ten round stripper clips for my sks. Loaded them up and put them into some of those deck screw boxes from Home Depot. Fits pretty good.

Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!
