That's the ultimate tailgating accessory. I so want to put a receiver on the front of my TOY. Good on ya. That's awesome and will be so useful!

I spent the last three days on the range teaching and shooting. Tomorrow I will be training a nice couple who work at one of the local hospitals. The do have some weapons and were talking to a mutual friend who recommended the get instruction since they did not have a clue about them. But the gun store told them "this is the best gun for home defense", I hate when they do that. My friend recommended me to teach them firearms. I do not usually go outside of the public safety realm but I will make an exception for EMS. It should be interesting.

Built a cedar privacy wall next to my new porch deck. Tomorrow it gets painted, we got 16 small galvanized buckets for the herbs that will be hanging on them, and we'll be planting those tomorrow. Lots of thyme, basil, oregano, dill, Rosemary, lavender, peppermint, sage, etc.
Common sense is so rare these days, it should be re-classified as a super power.

Good friend and I went to the outdoor paintball fields. Joined in with about 30 other people and went to war. Granted it is not the real thing but every little bit helps.

Its been a busy weekend for me. You'll see in their own threads I got my Model 19 out of lay away, and picked up another trailer. I also got a truck bed tool box and 185 piece Craftsman tool box for my truck.

Last week I got a 4' firestilk antenna, cable, swr meter, and mounting stud to install my CB radio, but I haven't installed it yet. Need one more piece of cable yet, and to be honest, I'm a bit leery about taking my headliner out to do it. Gonna have to just dive in eventually.

I've got a bit of "folding cash" earmarked for emergencies that I'll keep on me, my initial emergency fund filled, and more saved in the bank. The transfer from working for the City of Detroit to another company has been good to me.

Not prep related, but I also made a down payment on 2000 HD 883 Sportster.

Oh, and I "might have" purchased a .308 caliber rifle of some sort or another.

I'm hacking that debt zombie apart piece by piece, but its getting there, so its time to start rebuilding my credit as well. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, and all that, but working my current plan is definitely minimizing that.

    Its been a good week.

Did some bartering and landed myself a "redneck truck" 1986 Chevy V10, huge lift, huge tires, beefy engine, gonna use it as a scout vehicle.

Finally landed the "dream job" Head Winter Survival Instructor Fort McCoy Wisconsin! (now that all the snow has passed! Been waiting 3 months to hear if I got the contract or not, and finally sewed it up and signed the contract Friday)

Paid off most all of the bills with the tax return, so nothing really lingering over our heads, got some odds and ends to pay off, and a buddy I owe a few dollars to, but pretty much debt free as I stand.

Added a few things to the pantry, but it stays pretty much status quo, got some new walking sticks on sale at walmart. think ski poles... paid $7.99 for them in the clearance section.

Finally got EB his mags sent out... sorry about that Bro.. I know it took forever, but damn military been keeping me busy as hell.

Other than that... still pluggin away at the damn thing waiting for the balloon to go up.
