Almost done with rustic coffee table. DH finished making our porch swing and childs fold up bench. We use the childs bench at work. Wood was scrap cedar that was salvage from a porch. Pics soon.

Finished assembling/reworking my EDC bag's FAK, I got a med pouch from Izzy, and it was calling to me for use as a medkit. So far, I have added a few things to it, 2 rolls of 4" gauze Rolls are 4" wide but the rolls is about 1 1/4" thick, they fit well in the loops, there's a pouch behind the elastic loop panel that holds the gauze, so I put a small band aid first aid kit box full of 2x2 self stick gauze pads, and an assortment of small to large band aids inside and tucked it in there, there is a set of large loops at the opening to the pouch I put the band aid box in, so I was able to fit a nice fat roll of Ace bandage with the little metal thingies that hold it together in that spot. The other side of the clam shell is all elastic straps going across the inside, so I packed a ziploc with several giant 4"x2.5" bandaids on the bottom layer, a ziploc with 2 pairs of vinyl exam gloves, a pair of tweezers, a small ziploc with a wad of single use packs of hand sanitizer, and a ziploc of alcohol and betadyne swab pads, a small ziploc of q-tips, a match safe with a bunch of 750mg tums that'll get used sooner than they go bad, a small ziploc of single dose ibuprofen, and anti diarrhea pills. I will probably add an Izzy Bandage, in place of one roll of gauze, a roll of floss, a tube of super glue, or wound glue, and hopefully one or two of the packs of quik-clot just in case, as well as some visine, and little extras like an anti-histamine for bites, or allergies. I may also add a tampon to it (God forbid I have a hole in me that one of those will fit in) I've also got some industrial strength moleskin coming at the end of the month, my mom is a wound specialist, and helps people who are prone to pressure ulcers keep their feet from getting torn up/infected and amputated with this stuff, so I'm excited to replace my moleskin, or at least supplement it with it. I can't find my EMT shears This little kit fits great on my pistol belt behind my dump pouch if I'm using a chest rig, but will mostly just ride inside my Jumbo Versipack. It takes up some of my needed space in the main compartment, so I may eventually dedicate this one, and some of it's contents to my pistol belt for training days at the range, but since there are only a few things that can happen at the range, like splinters from a rough bench, to a burn from a shell casing going down one's shirt, and the worst case scenario, somebody taking a bullet, I'd probably dedicate it as a BOK with some ability to fix an ouchie that isn't life-threatening, and get a slightly smaller one for the EDC bag.

Common sense is so rare these days, it should be re-classified as a super power.

for the most part, I was trekking around in about 18" of snow, and I sank less than 6"

Snowshoes really aren't designed to keep you on top of loose fluffy snow like that though, but once there is a bit of a crust, I'll be laughing. It's when you have that little crust, that you can't walk on, that snow shoes really excell!
