Will do, LB and EB. Its not much to see yet, EB, but I'll get some pics as I go along. The donor is an M416 1/4. Iirc I did put a picture of it in original condition on the site. Somewhere...

I'd have been happier if my sandblaster had worked with my compressor at home, but it doesn't, so its still rusty. My only goal now is to get it reassembled before winter, so I can move it around easier when needed. Including to a sandblasting and powder coating shop near me.

We have tomatoes, lots of them. You need to understand this is the first time in four years we have had enough tomatoes to can. I hope to get a couple dozen quarts in the next couple of weeks. We also have at least 20 honey dew which will probably come in at the same time but that is alright. The cantaloupes have ripened so we are able to get a good one every couple of days.

Well my daughter and I participated in Urban Shield all weekend.

For those who are not familiar with it it's 48 hours of continuous operations starting at 0500 Saturday to Monday at 0500. 32 different scenarios by 32 different teams, no rest periods. It's interesting to see the different level of training and competency the teams have. It is amazing the quality between the national teams as apposed to the locals and state teams. Our was active shooter, hostage and medical components. I got a little dinged up but it was worth it.

So if it is predictable and preventable then you better prepare.

Picked up a Savage Edge in .270 (like I needed it) it's clean and looked hardly fired.

Truck is up and running after a month. Chevy 4x4 had some parts changed, cv axle and shocks. Now onto the explorer.

Picked up 5 gallon diesel and 5 gallon water jugs.

Changed out my 12 gallons of gas (i had premix for auger and chainsaw, but i screwed up the mix ratio)

more canned goods. fire extinguisher for the chevy.

Did the usual scheduled checks...rotated fuel (every six months), fired up the generator for its half hour run (monthly), picked up 20 sheets of 4x4 plywood (may come in handy), put up 15 lbs of 3" deck screws ($5.00 yard sale purchase).
Be ready now, you won't have that chance later.
