doing a complete breakdown of my mossberg shotty and cleaning it with my new 65 piece gun cleaning kit. ALso got waterproof matches, a waterproof match holder, 2 sets of hiking socks, and a kerosene lantern for christmas. I also got 2 bottles of fuel. Also, a Carhartt knit cap, brown, to add to the mix.
Got two 22 conversion kits for my son and mine 1911s. If you do not have one for your 1911 I highly recommend you get one. They are great.
I started my prepper resolutions. I started working out today, and I went through the Christmas decorations before I threw them in the basement. I now have two empty Rubbermaid containers and a bunch of junk for the garage sale. I am really hoping to get that basement organized before tornado season.

Finally got around to bucketing, mylaring and O2ing 350lb worth of white bean, rice, Hard white wheat, soft white wheat and yellow corn thats been stacked in the corner for a year now and sealed 50lb of wheat gluten in 1gal Mylar bags. I put an O2 in each bag and I'm thinking I shouldn't have... the gluten might turn into a brick.

Hay, Hay I just made my first jelly!!!! We made 7 pints of pomegranate jelly. Making it was a snap, getting the juice out of the pomegranates was a whole another story.
I started cleaning up after all the holiday craziness. I think that for me, this counts as my weekly prep activity.

I went through my entire kitchen, cabinet by cabinet, drawer by drawer, and threw out/packed away anything that didn't have to be there. Freed up quite a bit of space, and just made everything neater. Also gave me a good idea what I need to focus on for my upcoming Pantry remodel.
