Played checkers with my dog Claymore and he beat me, I think he was palming pieces.
I love the game... However, by a skilled player I am easily beat.
I do not memorize opening moves, special tactics, etc...
I play each move based on what I anticipate the other's next two moves might be... thats as deep and complicated as I get.
Even if I am simple, I enjoy the game for it's experience.

35 years sgo i played my ex bil several games most every weekend. After a year of that we got better. Since i really have no one to play any llonger, I'm sure i suck badly now. Still looking forward to it.
