Canned Cheese on Sale

Just got a notification from CampingSurvival.com that they have Bega canned cheese for $2.79 for a 200 gram can.
This works out to about $6.34 a pound and is about half off the normal price of $4.99 a can.
I have purchased and tried this out a couple of years ago and it is a quality cheddar cheese like velveeta even though the label says processed.

They also have the canned DAK hams for $4.28 for a 1lb ham.

Both of these are shelf stable until opened and taste great.

I can attest to how good BEGA cheese is, Ive eaten a 50 year old can and its just fine!
I may stock up on a few cans, but Ive got quite a few cases of it set back already, but I would say, anyone who doesnt have some, should get at east 5-6 cans and set it back! The DAK hams... lots of salt in those, but they are shelf stable..
