We had a great day driving around in the mountians with some great friends. Do a search on Cades Cove. Beautiful day.
Didn't count them but I think there are 2 dozen of red roses and a nice mushy card. BWRR is such a romantic. Wouldn't trade him for all the money in the world! He stole my heart when I was 12 and I love him more every day.

Nothing! this is nothing but a hallmark holiday that I have no use for!
I made butterfly prawns, stuffed with garlic seasoned mushrooms, wrapped in bacon, pan fried, and added to spaghetti squash, seasoned with onion, oregano, and sage.

I got, and by got I mean BUILT with permission from HQ of course, a 3'-6" x 5 treated wood deck that fits in front of my smoker. I have an unusable slope from the fence into a drainage swale near the back patio where I dug out and put down pavers for the smoker so it wouldn't sit on the grass, and rust. Problem? If it has rained in the last 7 days, I get to stand in a squishy spot while tending the smoker. I built the little deck to basically bridge the swale so I didn't have to regrade the yard, this swale drains 1/2 the back yard. Now I can keep my feet dry while cooking.
Common sense is so rare these days, it should be re-classified as a super power.
