    If the cold kills your battery then you will have to wait for the spring thaw in order to find your car. I guess this is a way to make sure the wife does not spend a long time in the mall.......

    Around here, when it is crazy cold, it is not uncommon for people to leave their vehicles running at the mall or grocery stores, and have a fob or separate key to get in.
