Four day disaster prep in Russia?

On both Tuesday and Wednesday this week I heard on radio, the Glen Beck program, that Russia is carrying out a 4 day mock disaster drill. Now I was in my car heading places and was not able to hear the entire broadcast. Beck speculated that part of the drill was to prepare for nuclear war with the USA.

It seems that right now we are fighting Russia in Syria. Are they preparing to take things further? Not trying to start or perpetuate a rumor here, just wondering if anyone else heard the two broadcasts in entirety.

I haven't caught it on Beck. But I've saw written articles on both Drudgereport.com and Zerohedge about it. I have also saw that October 4th is a National Disaster type day, much like September is Emergency Preparedness month in the states. Not sure if it makes me worry about it or not. The US basically has no shelters any longer so it doesn't matter.
I also saw a list of American cities it would take to come up with 40 million people it included 10 to 15 cities. I'm not sure what Russian population is, but 40 million would have to be near 20%. I doubt they have that much capacity.

Russian military has always been a proponent of "scorched earth", and I would guess their war doctrine would include using sub-Hiroshima-sized nukes as the ultimate scorched earth devices. I can't say whether the use of such would cause escalation; no one has dared roll such dice before.

Rat, the article you linked has a ring of Muslim deception that makes me take note. Obama being shia, and deceiving the sunni's to attack to their demise. I can't quote the koran, but their is a verse that talks about it being ok to deceive your enemy.

OK to clarify, I was being sarcastic....in a way. He takes true facts and puts his twists on it. Tactical nukes........I doubt it, conventional warfare, you betcha. A new cold war is coming I hope, again who sides with who and where will we end up is the question. But I think I said it another thread that if I'm not mistaken the "Good Book" the shit storm will start over there anyway. Soooooo ya kinda got that thing going to right? So what, we got 13 days left? Hmmmmmmm, what to do?
