Congratulations on finally finding your homestead brother. Would love to see some pictures. As a bonus you have Domeguy to design your solar set up if needed.

Template jig 2.0 I was able put in the two pieces and bolt them together rather quickly in the jig, but I was having difficulty getting it out with the boards so high holding the steel in. I quickly realized the front boards didn’t need to be so high. I cut them down to make getting the arch out so much easier. I was able to bolt together 20 2 piece panels in a few hours.

I just may get a few of the complete arches up tomorrow if the neighbor boy can help.

I don’t know where this country is headed...but our future can’t be good. I am needing help with the building, and I have hired 3 different people at 3 different times to help me work. All 3 have agreeded to show up, and none of the 3 have even bother to show, haven’t bothered to notify me they are not showing up, nothing. One even blocked me from messenger so I couldn’t even ask if she was coming or not. I have just contacted forth person who has just had a baby who says her boyfriend is desperate for any work, but I can’t contact him for 3 more hrs yet.

I’m just pissed off with the world today!

Hey brother, WTFO? I'm beginning to feel your pain...........I have been busier than a 3 peckered billy goat as of late, supposed to be closing this afternoon, did the final walk through yesterday (inspect repairs on house) and it didn't go to well. Was waiting for the realtor (she needs to unlock the gate) and decided to flip open the main water meter at the road. The meter was spinning like a fart fan.......no one was on the property....we have a major leak......good plumber. Showed the realtor when she got there, she told me that the reducer valve was bad and the plumber was going to replace it. Uuuuuuh, maybe you'd think he would turn the water off eh? Anyway we got to the house and observed leak, I went down into the basement to check some of the other repair work and found water leaking into the basement from the leak underground.....wonderful. Oh yeah, anyway no damage done down there. Checked the elctrician's work (replaced all exterior receptacles with GFI's) one does not trip the other's cover wasn't attached (broken threads in box)and would allow major water intrusion. Hello..........what's with these people? I can see I will be standing over some people's shoulders when they do any work for me. Other than doing yourself it's hard getting it done and done right, it seems to be my luck as well lately with auto repair, but I won't get into that story. I'll keep you posted, and you need to give me a call. My dozer, tractor and implements of destruction are also on the launch pad to be hauled over there as well, all set up. We just need to close the deal and we'll be neighbors. So my days have been FUBAR lately brother at's why I haven't been around anywhere. Be safe, More to follow...............I'll have to start a new "resurrection" thread about our NEW property unless........Mr. Murphy raises his ugly fuckin head again.
Be safe.............the night is your friend.

Well, at least with these three you're well right to be PO'ed.

Are their communications and their manners that poor?

If that boy was so desperate, IMO he'd not have his(?) baby's mother(?) speaking on his behalf for work, damn well he'd be out there himself, and three hours would bloody well better be time getting whatever tools and transit. If he shows up drunk or stoned, have Mr. Mossberg escort him off the property if he won't take a clue.

I'm not an electrician, plumber or a skilled trade. Looking back, wish I was. I CAN however, drive a nail without hitting my thumb too often, got 'lefty loosy, righty tighty' down pat... The one leg is not great, but I can still lift upper body stuff.

    104 more days... (sigh)

I believe he just likes being tied up. Those overfed; long haired leaping gnomes are into things like that.
Mamma always said son ; Tis better to be pissed off than pissed on. But then again who truly knows the workings inside the mind of a gnome. Especially one with a head that big.

You've got the Grizzly Adam's look ; aka ( mountain man ). Besides your head isn't that big like a gnome. Now as for the tied up part I know nothing.
