Thread files...

Picked up two different sets of thread files for repairing damaged threads..on fasteners..bolts etc.

One is a metric thread file set...

The other is an SAE American thread file set...

Hence now i have both arenas covered.

I have in my garage both metric and SAE tap and die sets and have extensively used both in my labors...but a set of thread files also come in handy from time to time.

Often a project is come to a stop by a damaged bolt.....damaged threads...

This file set just helps to over come those obstacles often want to bring a project to a stop.

Yeah, me too.
You would think that there would be more activity here and other forums with the goings on in the world.
Of course there is another thought I have:
That forums like this could be just intelligence gathering ops for L.E.
