6 trees everyone should know about

An interesting article about the uses of six trees found in America.

Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

    Cat's are food... not friends!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.

Great article. I knew about several of these, but not on others. Basswood in particular. I knew it was a favorable wood for carving, but no idea of any of the uses.

Good information, there is only one problem with most of these trees is they are from the east coast.

That's not a problem with the trees... it is a problem with your location...

Ya, I know but the weather is so great. We still have a few years at our present location and then I really would like to move. I'm shopping for places out of state but still want to stay in the west. However I'm not into shoveling snow and cities are definitely out. I want between 10 to 100 acres. I am amazed at the amount of money I will save in taxes by moving out of state. If I sell this place I hope to pay cash for my next home.
