I record the show. I think I've saw every episode since the first season. Probably my favorite of that type show. My guess about the bag is something homemade and loaded with what works in the particular area they live in.

Definitely one our my favorites too.
It wasn't a bag, more of a wallet. It was one of the last 2 shows recorded.
The segment where he showed it included fishing hooks & sinker in duct tape (cool idea BTW).
He kept them and a couple other items in it. They showed a picture of it.
