Just got off the phone with a butcher friend of mine. He slaughtered some pigs yesterday and has them hanging. He's got a 1/2 tagged for me, so it'll be ready next week!

    PLUS!!!

he is going to keep a couple bags of scraps for me from when he butchers the rest, to mix in with some other meat I have for sausage.
Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

    Cat's are food... not friends!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.

This guy has "some" flashlights. Just a couple. As in, a metric-butt ton of em.

First thing I am going to do is slice off some 1-1/2" thick chops and stuff them for the grill!

3 more large jars of freeze dried coffee. 2 five pound bottles of honey.

Couldn't help it, was in Sams....

Also picked up 2 more 550 round boxes of 22. A brick of bucketshot and slugs. This "Bullet Tax" thingy is bugging me...

Nice score!!! Most of the double wall tanks are for under ground use. By the new UST regs all under ground tanks need to be double walled with interstitial monitoring. Is it fiberglass or coated steel? I was in the petroleum industry for 15 years so if you want to bury it I can give you some pointers on how to keep it in the ground and what should be done to protect it from getting eaten up by electrolysis .
You don't need to be the strongest
or the most intelligent to survive
but by having the right tools and
    the adaptability of change
    is where you will prevail.

I doubt we'll bury it...It will probably find a home as the scavenge tank for the 30kw PTO generator....we have it mounted to a concrete pad with a 50 gal tank on a stand.
