Sounds yummy. I really want to grow ghost peppers. I have the seeds, just need to plant them.

that sauce.. actually an extract, has no taste, it is designed to add heat to other sauces.

Most ghosties run around a million shu (scoville heat units)... this stuff is 5 million. dip the very tip of a toothpick in it and touch your tongue and you will fight to the death for a knife to cut out your tongue.

I typically use a single drip to 5 gallons of chili, and most people cry. For a chili cookoff, I added 4 drops to about a gallon of chili, and sent a guy to the hospital.

I'm thinking Comstock is canned pie filling(?) I would just dip it out of the can onto the dough. Home canned fruit can be used as is with whatever flavorings or sweetener you want to use. Make sure you drink the juice if any so it don't go to waste. I don't waste anything.

Yes, Comstock is canned pie filling. I love the cherry and use it on my cheesecake during the holidays. I have some other flavors as well and thought they may be good in the pie if they can be used. Thanks for the info!

Vodin, following the other thread has got me thinking along those lines. I like sausages, but hate all the crap thats added in. Sounds like a great way to control what is used.

We picked up a bushel of sweet taters, 2 bushels of winesap apples to make apple butter, dehydrate, and can. Also picked the rest of our peppers both sweet and hot and bought 2 lbs of cayennes to dehydrate and grind into powder. Got some pumpkins and onion to.

Picked up a dutch oven, 4qt. And boxes of nitrile gloves, and n100 masks.
