    fillet/boning knife

not to hijack the other Kershaw thread... I bought one of these for a buddy a couple years ago...

at first he was skeptical, but since then has grown to love it! from tight boning of a cat sized rodent, to filleting a 30+ inch Jackfish, this knife is the bomb! stiff yet flexible blade, and the quality of a Kersh. HIGHLY recommended!

It is making me interested. I just use a regular serrated edge kitchen knife (ya the cheap ones) it takes a little work. But if there is an easier way...

I have this one and I love it. The blade extends from 6 to 9 inches. The sheath doubles as pliers to hold the tail or what ever else. It also a built in line cutter.

I've had one of these for 12 years now and love it. It was a birthday gift from my mother-in-law. I have left it in my boat all winter at times, in salty buckets, etc. I have abused it, but still fillets well. It also has a stone on the back of the sheath with groove to sharpen hooks. Also has a forever guarantee.

The Cuzco knives are great but pricy. We have had a set for years. As for the Kershaw thanks for the recommendation
