I heard on the news today the national debt is to hit 18 trillion soon, so I did a little checking. As of Dec 4, at 1:25.39 am, GMT, the national debt is $17,997,518,385,415.29. This come out to every citizen owing $56,324.08. Also, the national debt has been rising $2.43 BILLION PER DAY since Sep 30, 2012. So why were we all worried when we found out it was going to hit $17 trillion. This just makes me sick!
