    Feed your back yard birds!

You never know when you might need to harvest! Lol Justa and I have been putting seed out for over a year now and at any given time you can count 50+. In our area the birds are morning dove aplenty, qual for capturing for meat and eggs, 100s of sperrows that could fill the belly... Google traps and recipes.

You can have my extra birds. Little bastards eat my berries faster than I can harvest. They defeated the bird nets even. Too bad the mockingbird is our state bird, I'd be making an example. Lol
Common sense is so rare these days, it should be re-classified as a super power.

Granted they wont be there for long if an issue occurs but I know where they are

birds are also important to maintain a 'natural' environment. Quite often, when hunting, I will put out birdseed on fenceposts and fallen trees. Doesn't usually take long and they find it, and that helps establish a 'natural' sound to the forest around you. Game animals are more likely to come in, and be less wary if everything sounds right.

Birds tend to get to many of our crops before the are ready for human consumption. They will peck and ruin the peaches, apricots and strawberries. Another problem we have is that the folks who have been attracting birds in our area have also had the birds attract the coyotes.

    RELIGION IS LIKE A PENIS
    Its fine to have one,
Its fine to be proud of it,
But please dont whip it out in public and start waving it around,
And PLEASE dont try to force it down my children's throats.
