    Lol. The lawnmower is only gonna ride when I buy one or at the end of the cutting season when it goes to the car wash.

    ETA: chances are I'll go to the local metal fab guy and have him weld sides in.

    Make the sides removable, and wood - lighter, and your GVWR is probably 3500 on that single-axle trailer...So you want to maximize the load.

    But flatbeds are really handy, for all sorts of things.
