This morning I went through the Mrs. GHB and restocked water and other goodies. Had to get on her case about letting me know when she gets into the bag so I can replace it quickly. Also checked the car first aid kits to replace expired meds and ointments.

Got my 2100H programmed, all the tools I needed came together (USB to serial, and serial programmer).

Trying to plan out Lil'Bravo's M&P purchase, looking at ammo for bulk.

Will be installing my 2" budget boost lift on the Jeep when it gets warm enough.

Need to get out and shoot more, but need more primers which are hard to find right now.

Just getting over an ass kicking virus, mimics the flu and Im on day 6 with it, I hope to be back to work Monday, been out all week!

    That is all for now...

Saw a Dollar Tree store today, so stopped and went in to check out the boxed milk (thank you illini warrior for pointing out that they carried it). Instead of the little small boxes, they had the quart size with a one year expiration date. So we grabbed 5 qt. boxes for medium term storage along with boxed juices, Yoohoo, etc. All had 12 to 18 months expiration dates. Also stopped by Walmart and restocked canned tuna, chicken, meats, Oregon Fruits, etc. Then went and picked up 2 gallons of wildflower honey to stock. This is to restock for medium range storage.

Great prices. Until Warrior mentioned it, we did not know that Dollar Tree had food items, I kinda always thought it was a Chinese junk store.

We have Dollerama here.... and great prices on limited food items too! I checked dates and did some inquiries a number of years ago.

The items there were the same as what was full priced at the grocery store next door (same lot batch) but if a single case got dropped and one can was dented, the entire case was sold off to the dollar store. hence the better prices. Just make sure you don't take the dented cans.

Good point, we never take dented cans. My mother drilled that in my head many moons ago, so it is natural instinct to inspect cans and check dates.

Went and watched my daughter play softball for her college team up north. I surprised her with a new backpack and sleeping bag to replace her old ones. No she has a proper bug out bag (just don't tell her mom I told her it was for camping...........my daughter knows the difference). I also got my son a couple of new 9mm Shield mags to go in his kit.

So if it is predictable and preventable then you better prepare.
