The two biggest problems with smoking is... 1st It's going to kill me and there isn't anything that I can do about that other than quiting. 2nd The Costs!!! I'm paying around $50.00 a carton and I've found that I can do something about that.
A buddy told me about a new place in town called the Cigarette Depot that has cartons for $28.00 and what you do is buy 8oz of pipe tobacco (reg, light or mint), 1 carton of empty tubes (reg, light or menthol), than you load up they're auto injector with your tobacco and tubes and in about 5 mins you have a carton of smokes in a loose bag.

Before I was sold on the idea I stopped in and they gave me a few sample cigs to try that wasn't too bad so I went ahead and did it and then started thinking about buying an injector and just making my own. This is what I found...

Tobacco injectors cost from $8.00-$400.00 (the one I just ordered was $44.00)
1 lb of higher end tobacco is around $18.00 (Two cartons worth)
2 200ct tubes is around $6.00
So after your injector is bought your paying $24.00 for two cartons.

Just thought I'd share.

After many years of smoking, I stopped 7 years ago. This is one of the best things I ever did. It was tough for a long while, but it was well worth it.

I won't be disclosing the number of pounds I've gained since though.

I made a year without smoking on December 1st. Best thing I did, don't cough anymore, and got more energy.

Lung cancer, mouth cancer, throat cancer ... yeah, ... that would do it for me. One ciggy contains 399 CANCER causing chemicals, you don't even want to know how expensive they are in Canada, and I think one pack should cost 20 bucks or more due to the strain smoker induced cancers cause our health care system.

You can bet that it will be a very important commodity when the shit hits the fan.

I've never smoked but I did think about the trade side of stocking a few pounds or so.
