Spent some time in Physiological Training in the AF.That job was training Aircrews in the hazards of Altitude.We did this in Altitude chambers.Suck out the atmosphere to pressure altitude.Boyles law of trapped gas came into play,Got 1 gt of gas in your gut at sea level at 18,000 ft pressure altitude you got 2 its got to go somewhere..........Imagine 22 growen men farting in a sealed box.................as an operator you could choose to vent the chamber or seal it...............
I always sealed it:D..
Back to the men farting in a sealed box.At 25,000 ft half the trainees took off their o2 masks to experience their Hypoxia symptoms..
Now this is the morning after a night of beer and oysters......Severe green haze at nose level..............when the masks came off you could see it in their eyes....they started watering then the gagging.............afew puked......:o

1. The formal word for farts is "flatulate." While the word fart
can serve as a noun or a verb, flatulate is a verb only.

2. Farts are a concoction of air, methane gas and other gases.
Because methane is odorless, it is these other gases that
provide aroma.

3. The unpleasant odor associated with flatulence comes from foods
containing chemicals such as sulfur. Some of the more notorious
suspects would include eggs, beans, cabbage, cheese and beer.

4. Men average approximately 13.63 expulsions of gas per day.
Women (supposedly) average 3.28.

5. The legendary "Blue Flame": 12% of men admit to having ignited
their own farts.

6. "Passing" the buck: 52% of men and women admit to having blamed
others for their own flatulence, suggesting that what may be one
of humankind's oldest lies is also one of its most widespread.

7. When posed the question, "How long do you have to be 'going out'
with someone before you'll fart in their presence?" the average
of responses came out to 92.77 days -- 62.98 for men and 149.82
for women.

8. Etiquette tip: If you clench your sphincter while passing gas,

I would like to share an experience with you, about drinking and driving.

As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the years.

A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends at the Marriott Hotel and had a few too many beers and some rather nice red wine.

Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before: I took a bus home.

Sure enough I passed a police road block but as it was a bus, they waved it past.

I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise; as I have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got it.

Women often receive warnings about protecting themselves at the mall and in dark parking lots, etc. This is the first warning I have seen for men. I wanted to pass it on in case you haven't heard about it. A 'heads up' for those men who may be regular customers at WSS, Home Depot and Cabelas. This one caught me totally by surprise. Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends.

Here's how the scam works; Two nice looking, college-age girls will come over to your car or truck as you are packing your purchases into your vehicle. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. (It's impossible not to look). When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say 'No' but instead ask for a ride to McDonald's.

You agree and they climb into the vehicle. On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them starts crawling all over you, while the other one steals your wallet.

I had my wallet stolen June. 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, again on the 17th, 20th, 24th, and the 29th. Also July. 1st, 2nd so far...

So tell your friends to be careful. What a horrible way to take advantage of us older men. Warn your friends to be vigilant.

WSS has wallets on sale for $2.99 each. Cabelas a few pennies more. I found even cheaper ones for $.99 at the Dollar Store and bought them out in three of their stores. Also, you never get to eat at McDonald's. I've already lost 11 pounds just running back and forth from WSS to Home Depot, to Cabelas.

So please, send this on to all the retired men that you know and warn them to be on the lookout for this scam. (The best times are just before lunch and around 4:30 in the afternoon.)

I drive a Toyota Highlander, but it doesnt matter if it is an SUV or P/U truck.
