I don't know about you guys, but I have a metric ton of AAA and AA batteries laying around that still have SOME juice in them , but how much I don't know, whats worse is my wife dumped a few of them back in with the good ( new ) battery supply.

can anyone recommend a good battery tester for alkaline batteries, like to test each single battery

bonus question, will battery testers measure rechargeable batteries to see what kind of charging capacity they still have ???

don,t know the brand name but we got a small hand held one at HF. It is yellow and has a meter easy to read. It adjusts to the battery size with a slide out arm.

Menards or Lowes have a hang on the wall storage with built in tester. Works for us for short term

Just a reminder...a guy I work with had his Surefire flashlight quit and found he had 10 batteries dead. I ask when purchased, if he tested them and re-tested them. Answer, around 2 years ago and never tested them at all. Everyone make sure you check yours in the near future while we can.

I always wondered if other folks were anal that checked batteries when the were new to make sure they didn't get ripped off
