You will be judged by your peers(fellow members). As you will also judge others,so if it looks like an asshatted soup sandwhich, well, you'll be judged as so...
everyone needs to look at this as an opportunity to put theory to practice,I'm just motivating the masses to do what we really should be doing on our spare time to begin with.

Well that is not what I thought guerilla gardening was at all. My impression was that it was crops grown out in fields or in a wooded area. Sort of a hidden garden if you will. Something that would provide some food similar to wild edibles. Also that it would be from hierloom seeds so that you could plant , say at a BOL, years in advance and could count on a base foode crop.
I have totally misunderstood. I had already started planning what I was planting where.

I'd say that you are right too. The link I gave is British.

Guerrilla gardening is gardening on another person's land without permission. It encompasses a very diverse range of people and motivations, from the enthusiastic gardener who spills over their legal boundaries to the highly political gardener who seeks to provoke change through direct action. It has implications for land rights, land reform. The land that is guerrilla gardened is usually abandoned or neglected by its legal owner and the guerrilla gardeners take it over ("squat") to grow plants. Guerrilla gardeners believe in re-considering land ownership in order to reclaim land from perceived neglect or misuse and assign a new purpose to it.

A quick summary of of the practice:

Planting one or more self sustaining vegatable/fruit patches that are inconspicously placed in areas a lay-person/s would not expect to find such a resource.
i.e. In a small wooded copice,in a clearing near a brook or stream, deep in a forested area with a multitude of canopy openings.

Sorry if there was any confusion.
Game on...

GB that is much more along the lines of what I was thinking. Obviously there are more than one way to skin that cat.

This should be very interesting, but I think I've got a great place to try it at this year. Learn some lessons and I will expand to other area next year.

Also food hidden in plain sight. Kale in the flower bed with sweet potato vines and the like. In Florida, I used to grow sugar cane like an ornamental.

I think I'm in on this.....I will be picking my location and getting started if this is a go. GB, let everyone know if this gets off the ground. (I'm still going to do a plant hide just in case) cool idea.

I'm really excited about this, from a group perspective that is. We need some more members to give it a go before we call it a contest and get prepulated!
By all means go forth and start your projects,as many as possible. The facet of being prepared is not a game, but making a game of it helps the learning process and makes it fun for those who are not that in to it!

Dang man you did some good digging for this one!!! I'll do my best to contribute but we are "land locked" living in suburbia and all. :o
My FIL lives on the a boarder of a sanctuary and I did attempt to grow some wild Seminole squash but the wild rooters sniffed out the seeds and had a snack. GRRRRRRRR

gorilla:

Gorillas comprise the eponymous (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eponym) genus Gorilla, the largest extant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extant_taxon) genus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genus) of primates (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primate) by size. They are ground-dwelling, predominantly herbivorous (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbivorous) apes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ape) that inhabit the forests (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forest) of central Africa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Africa). The genus is divided into two species and either four or five subspecies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subspecies).

Guerrilla:

Guerrilla warfare is a form of irregular warfare (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irregular_warfare) in which a small group of combatants (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combatant) including, but not limited to, armed civilians (or "irregulars") use military tactics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_tactics), such as ambushes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambush), sabotage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabotage), raids (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raid_(military)), petty warfare (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petty_warfare), the element of surprise, and extraordinary mobility (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobility_(military)) to dominate a larger and less-mobile traditional army (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Army), or strike a vulnerable target, and withdraw almost immediately.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guerrilla_gardening

Guerrilla gardeningis gardening on land that the gardeners do not have legal right touse, often an abandoned site or area not cared for by anyone. It encompasses avery diverse range of people and motivations, from the enthusiastic gardenerwho spills over their legal boundaries to the highly political gardener (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gardener) who seeks to provoke change through direct action. The landthat is guerrilla gardened is usually abandoned or neglected by its legalowner. That land is used by guerrilla gardeners to raise plants, frequentlyfocusing on food crops or plants intended to beautify an area. This practicehas implications for land rights and landreform; it promotes re-consideration of landownership in order to reclaimland from perceived neglect or misuse and assign a new purpose to it.
Someguerrilla gardeners carry out their actions at night, in relative secrecy, tosow and tend a new vegetable patch or flowergarden in an effort to make thearea of use and/or more attractive. Some garden at more visible hours to beseen by their community. It has grown into a form of activism.
