Condor Softshell Jacket

I'm normally not a fan of Condor brand gear, but I believe the membership here may find this one useful.

I bought mine 2 years ago on a whim figuring, "Well, I'll give it a try. See how it goes." I have been pleasantly surprised.

Outer Layer: 100% polyester, 4-way elastic, high density fabric.
Mid Layer: breathable film membrane.
Inner Layer: super fine fleece.

Care Instruction
- NO Bleach, NO Iron, NO Dry Clean
- Wash inside out in low temperature
- Tumble dry in low heat

I've had my Soft Shell for 2 years now and I find it to be incredibly useful. The inside is lined with micro-fleece and is comparable to a Northface jacket. The outside is wind and water proof. It features a convenient zippered compartment for the hood which can be drawn closed with pulls. The two large front pockets are big enough to accommodate a glock 17 or 2 M16 mags. The two sleeve pockets are lined and can hold a Black Berry storm or Iphone as well as a tactical Light or other small item. The main advantage of this jacket is the ventilation system in the arms pits and lower back. The vents make it comfortable to wear in 60 degree weather. The jacket itself is the warmest winter jacket I've ever worn. I've worn Spider, Northface and Columbia Sportswear, this easily beats all of them.

I use the back pocket as a "dump pocket" when I go to the range.




This is my go-to jacket. For the past two years, I have worn it in all sorts of weather. While I wouldn't call it "waterproof" per se, the material is sheds water very effectively. Winter storms, downpours, etc have not even begun to phase this jacket.

I normally wear this with only a t-shirt underneath, regardless of temperature outside, and have yet to be cold.

Simply put, I love this piece of clothing.

It is available in OD green, black, coyote, and foliage green.

I will not hesitate to recommend this jacket to anyone.

With an average price of $75, you can't beat the value of this piece.
