Inspired from Snipers Dinner Porn thread, Whats in your lunch box?

Years after years of doing the lunch box thing (brown bagging) share your morning concoctions.

Backpacker and I both have said in the Dinner Porn thread that we like tuna sandwiches for lunch and after years of tuna and mayo sandwiches or any other type of generic sandwich what have you or what has your spouse done to break up the boredom?

Last time I made lamb I made a lamb sandwich for work. Cold lamb with nectarine jam. Added some spinach and put it all on whole wheat.

I have a Taz lunchbox that I always put our supper left overs in it. So it is different each time. But when I do sandwiches it is a Dagwood. Roast beef,chicken,ham and turkey, cheese, on potato bread.

I love tuna sandwiches, but usually just open a can for lunch and mix it with salsa or eat it plain.
Something else I like, when the gardens stuff comes rolling in is to cut up a bunch of veggies or whole. Onion, tomato, peas, corn, pepper (serrano and sweet bell), kidney beans, maybe carrots, maybe some squash and season it up with cayenne and black pepper, salt, and basil. I'll make up a good size bowl and eat on it for 2-3 days.

Left overs are great for lunch but whats the best left overs for your lunch box?

One of mine is left over Justa's meatloaf cold on a crispy bread roll, horseradish and mayo and a zip loc bag of sour cream and onion chips.

I'm kinda partial to my wife's leftover escalloped potatos. I love leftover baked spaghetti as well.

Two tins of sardines or one and one tin of smoked oysters, a half stack of crackers, a few celery cuttings and a bottle of hot sauce . :)

99.9% of the time it is left overs! Even though there are only two of us, I always cook for 4; and 'tupperware' up lunch for the next day. So anything you've seen, in the porn thread, or anything you've heard me mention, is what I take to work the next day. Like the dinner porn thread, I am both envied and despised in the office at lunch time too. Especially when I am heating up something especially fragrant.

On the odd time I do not have lunch, I will pop out to Subway, where I get a sweet onion chicken on wheat, extra veggies.

Usually a can of Chunky Soup with crackers, occasionally a tuna pack with mayo and crackers. My favorite leftover has to be a meatloaf sandwich with american cheese and a dab of mayo...man writing that just made me hungry!
