I know politic's are not allowed but I thought that we all need to be aware of this day. If you feel that it needs to be delete I understand. This might not amount to anything, but I think that it will because of all the hype that is getting people riled up. Especially in Fla about the Trayvon Martin shooting in Sanford. (That big day is happening to day.) As it looks right now where I will be on that day is traveling in the middle of it. Not a good place to be.

Nothing wrong with folks being aware of various events in their area that could potentially produce localized SHTF events as long as we stay clear of the politics.

In a sense it is about politics, race politics that is. I find it kind of interesting, that of all the groups, that have come to this country, the blacks are still on the lower rung. Every new group that has come here has faced economic and political hardship, most have overcome that however. Only the black community if you take a close look is still struggling to make their way. The European immigrants have thrived, the Asian immigrants are thriving the middle eastern immigrants are thriving, Hispanic immigrants are starting to thrive.

The new Black Panthers , are sponsoring this event, and they are little different then the originals. Perhaps a little slicker and more tech and PR savvy. Will they actually do anything of merit to help people. Unlikely. Will they elevate the discourse and propose real solutions to real problems, or just aggravate the issue. It will be interesting to see.

I think that it will happen, but how big and out of control it will get is the question. Also each different town will have to deal with it in their own way. In Sanford their already in the streets marching now and have been. So this is just a small scale I think of what each town will have happen to it. As far as getting out of control, that will depend on the county sheriff department. But I do think in some of the places they intend to march, there is going to be trouble. I just hope I am not in town and traveling on the interstate. That way I will be safe.

Thanks for posting Taz. I wasn't aware of this and we are going to be on the road some that weekend. We'll have to keep a close eye and pay attention to where we are going.

So are they planning it again? I couldn't find anything on Google for this year. My sister is a teacher and my BIL is a police officer in the worst neighborhood of Chicago, so I would like to warn them. You would think the police would know about it by now, at least.

The current administration and the media won't say much about them until they kill somebody. These are the folks the "Holder " DOJ wouldn't prosecute for voter intimidation here in Philadelphia during the last national election. Sweet bunch of folks. Just a bunch of thugs in funny looking Black BDUs, for the moment. They will try to capitalize on the Trayvon Martin incident. Kind of like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton do every time so poor black supposedly gets their rights trampled on or an alleged incident happens. Think Tawwana Brawley and the Duke Lacross team incidents that didn't happen that neither of these "black Leaders" apologized for once they found out they never happened.
