This guy makes pretty cool custom knives and is currently having a contest to give away a custom knife with Kydex sheath, no strings attached. The winner will be picked by a random number generator on May 7, 2012. I've already entered so I'm in. Only one entry per person. This guy makes some pretty good looking knives besides the one he is giving away. So go ahead and enter. Who knows? One of us ants might win!

I'll do an in depth review when I get it, but............. I've never really had a custom knife like this so I may be a little easy on it. But, yes I about flipped when I got the e-mail and saw I had won. Incidentally, Dan (the maker) has gotten a lot of grief over this at some of his other forums. Sour grapes? Maybe, but he will be running another contest, so keep checking his website. I talked to him today and he is a very nice guy. His prices are pretty reasonable too.

Grumpy, don't go easy on it! I want to know if its as bomb-proof as my Morris knives! This isn't to say abuse it though. I don't baton with mine, for instance.
