Has anyone got a source for the non-insulated gore tex wet weather gear? I told my dad I'd find and price it for him days ago, but I haven't been online long enough at any one time to look.

Any help would be great, thanks!

My current coat was purchased at the Cabela's in Dundee. They have several versions. Gander Mtn and Bass pro carries them as well.

I swear by the stuff. My first coat was purchased in 1983. I've had a couple since then.

Remember seeing Mil surplus.

Buy Used USA Gortex Parka - at Army Surplus World (http://www.armysurplusworld.com/product.asp?productID=18886)

I'm sure there's more out there.

Dude, just go onto eBay and search for it.

Get name brand Goretex, not Rothco shit. Woodland and Marpat cammies have great Gore-tex. They run about $100 for a top and bottom

Lol. Lots of places I could look, Gunner, but I'm largely limited to my phone atm and I'm using tapatalk to post here. My browser isn't working on it...

Just figured I'd ask if anyone had an idea on source and cost. Now I can pass along the ebay info too. Thanks! ;)

APECS is current issue and available in both MARPAT's(green & desert) and ABU. I wear one or the other of the MARPAT APECS parkas year-round, and keep the pants in the daiper bag or my GHB. APECS rocks my socks.

I ended up seeing some Frogg Toggs on sale at Dunham's.

Long story short, he became a trend setter at work with them.

Thanks for the info and help though.

I know the WM in Gods country has started carrying FroggToggs now. Have a set for the whole family

They have the jackets at the WM here, from what I'm hearing, but not the pants. I should go look for myself.

His are holding up well, even against the chemicals he uses. Sounds like a winner to me. His conditions at work are much harsher than anything I'd likely put them through.
