I have been reading the forums for a while now, decided to finally join. The wife and I have been prepping for several years. Started soon after we got married, we started with food, weapons, ammo. Then moved onto some of the other stuff like canning stuff.
One of the biggest things we did to prep was move. We had lived in coastal Ga., we now live in the northern panhandle of Idaho. On the side of a mountain, the house is off grid, with 25 acres, abundant wildlife, for now anyway.
Just started our first garden with heirloom seeds, things are looking good so far. And absolutely love it up here in the middle of no where....Looking forward to learning from all you fine folks, that have been doing this a lot longer than we have.
