ACU digital dye?

Anybody have experience dying acu pattern tactical gear? I would like to try and get a desert or woodland marpat effect going but don't want to ruin a good tac vest. Any tips on the right way of the abc's of dying gear is appreciated. Or encourage me to leave it alone. Pictures encouraged!

Just one of many threads about dying ACU. I haven't been able to find anything that's MARPAT ish (the woodlands have a blacfk.green base that you can't get by dying ACU. FWIW, I'd say find a color that's "baseline" for your AO and try to tweak the ACUs to work around that baseline. In Florida, for instance, I'd probably try a Ranger Green color to split the range of foliage withotu getting stuck green in fall.

For tactical Nylon, spraypaint works well.

Thanks for the link. I have some old ACU's that I'll experiment with and maybe get a decent color scheme going with it. Stupid pattern was/
is a huge waste of tax payer dollars.
