Giant Lichen Orb Weaver spider

Went camping this last weekend in Western North Carolina (Brevard, NC) and found this beauty hanging out by the laundry room door of the campgrounds bath house.
It's a Giant Lichen Orb Weaver spider.... Not deadly in the slightest if you don't count the heart attack one might have if one found it crawling in ones hair. LOL

Not sure what she had wrapped up and was eating but it was pretty big. The Spiders abdomen was he size of a cherry tomato

I can't make the comment I want to about that, but I have had mountain lion and it was pretty good. I actually tried deep fried tarantula once after watching Bizzare Foods. It tasted kinda like real crunchy shrimp.

As for the REST OF YOU -----SNIPER! I knew you were going to bring in the kitties!
