Got an Idea............maybe we can pass around a camping gear inventory list. Kinda of a contributory thing. A list of things that we all can us for the good of our little colony. Cooking gear. Lighting. Gas, etc. I guess I'll start it now and pass. Make sure you leave a "snail trail" so it doesn't get kicked back to some one but you can always do a shout out. Sound good?

Yes, riding "Bitch", shotgun, whatever, is kinda nice for a change. I get to see everything now. I get to formulate plans now. How am I going to "trick" her truck. Where am I going to put all her stuff. Hmmmmm, overhead gun racks? Where am I going to mount her Ham radio and CB? It's a complicated process......where can I stash all the good stuff and still keep it a "short bus"

Tn has a pretty solid economy, jobs to be had.....then tn.gov website has lots of jobs posted, my hubs and I were searching them daily when he was out of work. The Clarksville Tn area in particular is said to have one of the strongest economies in the country!

Well, I'm not really a yankee; Frank James is buried about 1 1/2 blocks from my boyhood home; the James family homestead is about 7 miles SW of my brother's farm and when I was re-enacting we portrayed drunken, insurrectionist, border rebel scum! (Not a real reach for most of us) And I do have a fair amount of relatives in KY,TN,AL, WV, VA, NC and SC. And some on the Rez in OK. But..... I am planning my escape from the PRK sooner rather than later hopefully. And TN and TX are being given serious consideration.

went to the ER saturday night. was told it was a nasty cas of bronchitis. got put on a zpack and lots of rest. Saw my primary care today. He doubled down with more antibiotics and roids. both in syringe form.

Something that might help, and wont mess with your meds, is to get some of those vicks vapo shower tablets, its like a giant alka seltzer tablet that you put in the shower, the hot water makes it all vicks-ish, and really helps open up the airways. :) It was one of the few things I could actually take when I was sick and prego. I think a lot of people are going to be sick this year, it's already started and the winter is young yet. I think we all should keep a couple of ginger roots in the fridge to make tea (add honey) and ginsing if you can find it. These are wonderful for colds and URI's.

Oh, sorry domeguy! What a terrible time to be sick!!! I've been drinking tea from Lemon Balm and Mint that I grew a couple of years ago. I totally forgot that I had it up there in the jars and it's soooo good I wish I had remembered last year.
