I second that Izzy. We were down in Charelston, SC back in the spring. There were a lot of vendors selling sweet grass baskets that looked great. I would put those in the same catagory. They are great. She does real nice work.

I will also concur with Izzy and B.P. Those are fine looking baskets. Maybe the wife should get into selling some as Ladyhk said .

wow, it's almost hard to believe those are pine needles! white pine or scotch pine? I can't think of anything else that would be long enough...

Those are cool, now you gotta get her to make a tactical bug out basket. Maybe incorporate a rail, and a light.

Unbelievable work. even zoomed in, I cannot see where one needle ends and another begins. Do you have any progress shots of anything. I'd like to see how they're put together. What about some time estimates. How long does it take to do that??

On a cold winter night, with no power, no other work, and a pair of idle hands, I can see this being a useful and fun project. Now that the process is clear, it really makes your wife's skill shine. she has a good hand, and a good eye!

Nicely done Mrs IDT, nicely done

That is some pretty incredible work. It is nice to have hobbies that can generate an income. However sometimes it takes the fun out of the hobby. She has a talent that maybe you should consider looking expanding. I would say good luck but with her talent I do not think you need luck.
