Good News for ZH

So after being unemployed for over a year ZH is back on a job. Working as a sanitation worker in a near by town right now it is only 3 days a week with a later promise of full time employment but with what I make there and the per-capita check I receive from my Indian tribe my wife and I can make it.. It was looking grim for a while but hopefully I will soon be able to get back into being prepared and back out on my own...I don't know how many of you have had to move in with a parent at the old age of 28 and being married on top of it but needless to say it sucks. Some perks of the job is the towns police chief also has his FFL and will order me firearms at dealer prices and only charges 20 dollars for the ffl fee. Also who the hell throws away a half case of good MRE's in the garbage...needless to say those did not go to the landfill.

I can commiserate on the "moving in with parents" thing. I wasn't quite as old at the time, but me and my wife moved in with her parents for a bit, and then with my parents for awhile.
However, we weren't married yet at the time..............
And she was pregnant.
