Well....new to me....

Just picked it up the other day....high mileage....but the price was very right.

Chevrolet 3500 dually....Vortech 8100...extended cab.....Knaphiede Utility Body.

Now to build a material rack....from bumper to bumper.

It will work for what I'm doing...:)

Nice truck!!! After you build your rack that should be a perfect for ya. You probably thought of this all ready but make sure that the back rack bar can be swung out of the way so you can load tall things in the back easily.

Oh yeah.....I've built about 25 custom racks...this though....will be me crowning piece.....:)

Suggestions are always welcome though....no one knows everything.

How does the saying go?.....If you think you can not learn anything new.....you are correct.

Nice pick. What is this going to be used for? Any prepping addons (hidden gun racks, etc?) My 04 gmc truck has over 115k miles, and just broke in. It runs great

May be high mileage but it looks very nice. Well taken care of. Is it gonna be just your standard work truck, or is this a BOV type rig?

BTW is that building in the background yours? If so, it is really nice.

Service truck for my welding shop.

The building in the background is a leased building....my shop.....if next year is good....I may build or buy....we'll see.

Don't forget to put a "headache" rack over the rear window!

ETA, some examples. I figure you can fab them yourself.

Nice score...looks like you can haul a bunch of equipment in there if need be. Looking forward to seeing the updates and modifications.

Nice rig, I'm sure you have many ideas floating in your head already, along with the many different trailers you'll have to build for each disaster scenario. Don't forget to build and extra one for me too!

Be safe.............the night is your friend.

I don't know what happened....I thought I hit like this post....sorry about that....just saw it.

Thanks.

I just got the tags on it....Damn.....this thing has some serious power.

I ran it about 30 miles home to make sure it was GTG....then took it on a 85 mile trip to deliver some railings. Pulled a 14 ft trailer loaded down.

I never even noticed the trailer was there.....went up a grade that was about 5.5 miles.....never even though about bogging.

Very happy with it....books for $9k....got it for just under $5k.

I cry everytime I have to feed my 454.... I can't imagine feeding the 496... However... What is it they say? "No replacement for displacement"
What size tank or tanks does that thing have?

I know the front tank is about 30 gals....the rear tank looks to be about 70% that size....dunno....I stopped filling at $100.00.
