So i got a new job. Working at a BBQ place that just opened here. I like it. Found the bosses book he is reading.. "One Second After". He is VERY progun btw... And wil be posting a sign in the front window that reads something like "Lawful concealed carry welcome here". Yes, i am allowed to carry at work. He goes over to germany a couple times a year to cook BBQ for the wounded troops. He pays for this with his own finances, gotta love that.

I am thinking he is a prepper. Not sure yet though.

Yeah, talking to him today he used a few key phrases that caught my attention... Like "Shit Hits the Fan", as one.

make sure y'all got enough sweet BBQ sauce stored up, you can put that on any meal post SHTF and make it good

Please tell me that you get to eat free barbeque every day!

Are you dropping key phrases too? he's probably thinking the same thing about you. "Aw, shit... I was repacking the truck and forgot to throw my Get Home Bag back in..."

thats no key enough, something like my wife opened the wrong can of soup without properly rotating them, might get more of a perk up ??

Dropy, just straight out ask him. If he does prep, he won't be offended knowing you do. If he doesn't prep then screw him if he gets offended....LOL

You probably shouldnt screw him...just sayin ;). Ive spent about 2 years working one of my co workers. We work together on and off, but finally the other day we began discussing survival skills and how they can come in handy. Mission accomplished!

Great news on the job. Don't be shy, just ask him. He'll either tell you no are you one of those nuts? or he'll say yes, why? are you?. My brother made a comment on 12/21/12 and I told him that won't happen, still got a few years till melt down and I told him yes I am making preparations, found out he's been doing some preps himself. Hasn't been at it long due to no job and losing their home but he and wife have been getting their business off the ground (rehabs the houses the bank repo's). So they are just starting and as he is retired military, I believe he can get to PX and pick up a few things.
