They're truly the greatest generation in this nation's history along with those who fought in the Revolutionary war to birth our freedom.
These warriors gave all they had to keep us and the world free for future generations. And I maintain that's it's our job to make sure they didn't sacrifice or die in vain.

yep, i thought about my Grandfather today. he was at Pearl. there is some footage of him running across the deck of one of the boats being bombed, pretty cool. being that i never got too meet the man, he died in 1968, 3mo. after i was born. i have heard stories and seen pictures.
