So many here seem to have prayer requests, that I am including you all in my prayer circle. May the Peace of the Lord be Always with You!

Thanks Grumpy! I could sure use the prayers, I am traveling out of state tomorrow, to go see a specialist. I am looking at having some surgery done, and it's not covered by insurance, since although it is medically necessary, it's also very, very new in this country. Yippee, I might get to be a guinea pig. I was told to expect to be there doing various tests for 6+ hours. But, the good news, if they do find me a suitable candidate for this operation, I will hopefully get to schedule that tomorrow as well, probably within the next month. And this whole thing is costing a pretty penny, that makes me nervous, I hate spending money. Plus the whole aspect of it being experimental, it's pretty straightforward but shucks, we don't have a lot of data on how things work out in the long term. As a mom with three young kids, it's just one of those things I have to weigh out for myself, is the reward worth the risk.

So, prayers would be great! :)

Having been on the receiving end of many of those prayers, I too shall be on my knees before the Lord praying for you.

Thanks for the prayers, ants. They didn't get all the information they needed :( , one of their damn machines broke that morning. I'm not even kidding. So I will need to go back again, but other than that, and like the 6 other tests/evaluations they did, so far so good. I will have to go back for more testing, but because of my long distance situation, they will also just schedule the surgery for the next day after, and then if it turns out I don't need it/can't get it, they will cancel, and at least I won't be wasting more time/gas.

On a slightly funny note, this prepper girl who had maps galore, that states atlas, an equivalent to a GHB, hell, even a book to read in between tests, FORGOT THAT I WAS DRIVING INTO ANOTHER TIME ZONE!! So instead of being there an hour early, like I had planned, I was 5 min. late. Some days, it's a good thing my head is attached....

Glad to hear from ya. I could be funny and ask what time zone was you in warp or twilight? but I won't :D Glad it is so far so good and sorry about the travel thing, but at least they will do the surgery (if needed) the next day. a night in the motel alone is great for alone time to think time.
