I had heard of protest in Turkey but I didn't realize they turned violent till this afternoon. I was watching CNBC and figured I should start capturing this video and get other peoples opinions on this. Turkey has a fairly large economy. If this spins out of control I'm not sure where it could lead...

Turkey has been a pretty good allied country for quite a few years. Differences yes, but overall not bad. They have also been a somewhat stabilizing influence in parts of the Middle east. If they fall to the Muslim brotherhood like Egypt has, it will be another blow to the US and Nato. Of course, this could most likely be a part of the bigger plan, just like Egypt, Libya, and soon to be Syria.

Who's next, Jordan, Saudi Arabia? I fully expect to see similar events to start in Europe at some point.
