DENVER (Reuters) – Two bombs were found inside a Borders Bookstore in a suburban Denver shopping mall overnight, the FBI said on Saturday.
Police were summoned to the Colorado Mills Mall in Lakewood early on Saturday after a store alarm sounded, the FBI said in a news release.
Police discovered evidence of forced entry and found two explosive devices.
The Jefferson County Bomb Squad responded to the scene, but the FBI did not say if the devices detonated.
"No injuries were reported and no threats have been communicated to Borders or the Mall," the FBI release said.

Officials detonated the devices safely early Saturday, and no one was injured. Additional detail on the devices was not available.
The discovery was made at the Colorado Mills Mall in Golden, Colo., after police responded to a report of a break-in. The Jefferson County Bomb Squad detonated the devices. Damage to the store was minimal.
Police made no arrests, but the FBI is investigating.
The mall opened as usual Saturday, though the bookstore was shuttered.

Two bombs were found inside a Borders Bookstore today in a suburban Denver shopping mall, the FBI said.
Police were summoned to the Colorado Mills Mall in Lakewood early this morning after a store alarm sounded.
Police discovered evidence of forced entry and found two explosive devices.
The Jefferson County Bomb Squad were callled to the scene and officials detonated the devices safely. No one was injured.
Additional details on the devices was not immediately available.
'No injuries were reported and no threats have been communicated to Borders or the Mall,' the FBI said in a release.
Police have made no arrests but the FBI is investigating.
This is the third set of bombs to be found in the Denver area in the last two months.
In April Earl Albert Moore, 65, was arrested on suspicion of planting a pipe bomb at a Littleton mall on the 12th anniversary of the Columbine High School attack.
Moore’s arrest came after a manhunt when the bomb was discovered at Southwest Plaza Mall on April 20.
And on June 5 members of the Northern Colorado Bomb Squad destroyed a suspicious package found in a popular Fort Collins shopping centre.

The Columbine massacre occurred on April 20 1999, at Columbine High School, in Colorado, near Denver. 12 students and one teacher were killed, and 24 were left injured when two seniors, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, embarked on a filling spree with pipe bombs and automatic weapons.
It is the fourth-deadliest school massacre in U.S. history.
