I woke up at 5:00 am, and an hour later, I noticed I was left a little surprise from the tree fairies. I had a tree fall two yrs ago that fell between the dome and the garage. I had called about getting 5 trees cut down, just cut down, not cut up. The main one was a dead poplar on the edge of the bluff. He said the price was so high to the due to the poplar And to the difficulty. i was given a quote of $900. I felt like I was being ripped off, so I was going to do more calling this fall to see if I could get a better rate....never-mind...all taken care of. Missed the house by an inch.http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/1553/1ei1.jpghttp://img46.imageshack.us/img46/2580/4amf.jpg http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/3182/46a4.jpg

Yes we did, but I did spray the dome with a good dose of tree repelent. now I have got to figure out what the heck I'm gonna do with it. To soft to cut, not enough room to get the 4x4 in there...maybe a few sticks of dynamite?

Break it up with a axe if it is too soft to cut.

Don't know why I didn't notice before, but it was 6 in. short from taking out the upstairs ac unit. About a year ago, about 20 ft. of the top fell off and barely put a small dint on my main ac unit. If that piece was still on it, this morning wouldn't be such a pretty picture.

Wow! That would have done some serious damage a foot to the right. Glad to see you got lucky.

Hey DG, you need any help over there call me don't call the "tree guy" I'll help you out. No problem I can adjust my "busy schedule" we need to take care of that. We can make short work of it.

I think I kinda like it just where it is. Mrs. D is even said we could use and decorate it for our Christmas tree...like Charle Browns, only a little taller. It's still raining here, and since its already down, I've never heard of one falling back up...unless its a zombie tree
I think I will cut it into 3 pieces and leave it approx. where it is, to hold all the rocks that fall down from the erosion.
