The wife and I saw a couple back in the summer on a fiahing trip/boat ride we took down the river close to the house. I knew there were some that had came back to this area but hadn't spotted any before. They are a majestic animal without a doubt.
Looking forward to some pics.

There was a nesting pair not far from my old house near Houma La that we used to see all the time. Their nests are huge, they add to them every year.

No, it is usually when a little brother can't say brother, they usually end up calling their older brother bubba.

Yeah, I heard all the jokes over the years.

There are lots of boudreaux's and thibodeaux's in real life. It is a very common last name there. We also call all oil field hands boudreaux's.

the bald eagle population has gone into overdrive this year in Illinois .... they're out fishing all the open water and some of the areas have unbelievable numbers ... Fulton had an estimated 1,000 eagles in one gathering ..... the Starved Rock area parks can't handle all the eagle spotters .... a little river dam on the Kankakee River, that usually gets a pair of eagles at the most, had 16 fishing the spillway .... quite the show
