Hey everyone,
I mentioned previously in the 10 days of fitness thread that I was thinking about doing a pedometer challenge. So starting August first, anyone that wants to pick up a step counter (pedometer) and participate, your more than welcome. You don't need any of the fancy ones, just the ones that keep track of the steps. Then you just wear it from the moment you leave the house to the moment your turn in, everyday for the month of August. At the end of everyday you just note down how many steps you took and see the grand total by Sept. 1st.
I proposed this activity cuz chances are if something terrible does happen, its your "boots on the ground" that are going to have to be in shape and conditioned.
If the majority of the board says nay ( i know spending extra cash kinda sux but there are a lot of low price pedometers out there), then I'll just plan on something else.
I'll repost on this thread as August gets closer to add any final guidlines to any gray areas we might find.
Thanks for any input or further ideas.
