With all the tension and what not around the Ukraine, Russia and Crimea... My youngish niece was asking what it was all about, and why people couldn't just be content to stay within their own borders... Being a history buff, I tried explaining how European borders have been liquid for more than a millenia but was essentially met with a blank stare.
Then I found this and although she still doesn't get why... she at least get's what is going on.
