I've been outta touch the last few weeks, thought I would give an update. I've got a issue with one of my eyes that has been causing me fits. Headaches, something similar to double vision, trying to figure out whats going on. All test have came back ok, and Dr says its just gonna take time and hopefully things get back to normal.
One plus to this. I have always been very left eye dominant and right handed. This is forcing me to be right eye dominant for now. Who knows, maybe that will stick.
Anyway, I haven't dropped out, just sucks trying to use a puter right now. Later BP

Was wondering about you son. Saw a picture of you with patch and thought maybe eye problem.
Hope all turns out well ; will keep you in thoughts.

Though in picture you had that pirate look going on rather well. ;) Could end up with eye of the eagle when said and done and really place rounds down field accurately. :D

Arrrrrrgh! Thanks guys. Hopefully the patch is only temporary. It sucks, but is better than not using it. My balance and vision are sll to shit without it.

There is always a silver lining. You are no longer left eyed dominant when shooting a handgun. Good luck to a speedy recovery

Hope that all gets better soon. A good friend of mine is having a similar problem, it's caused him a lot of lost work. His docs haven't found anything yet either. Don't give up.

The eye specialist equated what's going on with my third optical nerve to a stroke in that nerve. Nothing they can do at this point other than give it time. She said the nerve regenerates in a lot of cases. She said to give it 6 months and see how it does. I go back for a check up in Nov. We have noticed the eyelid is opening back up fully now, which is a start. Vision isn't much different yet though.

Prayin for patience right now.

Thought I would post an update on my eye. A couple weeks ago i noticed my vision changing some, eye lid opening fully. Things looking better hopefully. Went back to the Dr Wed and she took all kinds of measurments and test on me. When i first went my eye was off 55 prisim units. Now only 20 at a distance and 6 up close. The eye is almost completely tracking like normal. She told me that with the improvement already she thinks I should recover fully. Needless to say we are thrilled. I was getting worried that it wasn't gonna improve at all.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Made another Dr visit this afternoon. Got a great report. Doc said it was pretty much back to normal. Eye Tracking is perfect. Measurements were go9d as well
Dont have to go back unless I have further problems. I am extremely happy about the results. .seems my vision, to me, is as good as ever.

Dr is good. She's actually pediatric dr, but this eye positioning is her specialty.

I can't even describe what my vision was like. Back to normal now.
